Bulletin: On the Status of COVID-19-positive Filipino in Macau SAR

20 March 2020 - The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), through the Philippine Consulate General in Macau, confirms the report of a Filipino national who tested positive with coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) in Macau.

The Filipino national, who is a non-resident worker in Macau, is the 15th case of COVID-19 infection recorded in the said special administrative region.

The Consulate General is in close coordination with the local authorities in Macau on the details of the Filipino national’s travel history and of those people that might be identified as having had close contact with him since his arrival in Macau, and stands ready to provide assistance as needed.
