Bulletin: Update No. 3: On the Explosion in Abu Dhabi

PASAY CITY 03 September 2020 (UPDATED) — The Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi, confirms that five of the eight Filipinos injured from the gas explosion from a restaurant in Abu Dhabi on 31 August 2020 have now been discharged from the hospital while the remaining three Filipinos are recovering in two separate hospitals.

The DFA, through the Embassy, continues to monitor the situation of our fellow Filipinos in the UAE and remains ready to extend assistance. The Embassy likewise thanks the UAE Government for ensuring the affected Filipinos are cared for. END
