Public Advisory: Extension of MECQ in Tuguegarao City for Additional Seven (7) Days Until 07 May 2021
MANILA 04 May 2021 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that pursuant to Tuguegarao City Executive Order No. 64 dated 30 April 2021, “An Order Extending the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in Tuguegarao City for Additional Seven (7) Days and Setting Additional Guidelines in the Implementation of MECQ Protocols”, the Consular Office in Tuguegarao City (CO Tuguegarao) will continuously have skeleton work teams, for the duration of the extended MECQ until 07 May 2021, to attend to emergency or urgent cases only such as medical emergencies or returning OFWs with documents supporting proof of urgency (e.g. medical certificate, employment contract plus valid residence permit or working visa).
CO Tuguegarao will resume its regular operations on 10 May 2021 (Monday).
Affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail consular services due to the suspension of operations must secure another appointment by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with the following information:

- Date of birth
- Original appointment date and time
- Preferred date and time of new appointment
The new appointment may be on any working day (Monday to Friday) from 18 May 2021 to 16 June 2021 during the CO’s regular operation hours (9:00 AM to 4:00 PM).
