Public Advisory: On Placement of the Province of Cagayan Under MECQ and Extension of Said Status in Tuguegarao City Until 23 May 2021

17 May 2021 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that pursuant to Tuguegarao City Executive Order No. 67 dated 11 May 2021, “An Order Adopting the Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution No. 114-C Placing the Entire Province of Cagayan Including Tuguegarao City under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) until May 23, 2021 and Setting Guidelines Thereof”, the Consular Office in Tuguegarao City (CO Tuguegarao) will have skeleton work teams, for the duration of the MECQ until 23 May 2021, to attend to emergency or urgent cases only such as medical emergencies or returning OFWs with documents supporting proof of urgency (e.g. medical certificate, employment contract plus valid residence permit or working visa).

CO Tuguegarao will resume its regular operations on Monday, 24 May 2021.

-  Date of birth 

-  Original appointment date and time 

-  Preferred date and time of new appointment 

The new appointment may be on any working day (Monday to Friday) from 1 June 2021 to 30 June 2021 during the CO’s regular operation hours (9:00AM to 4:00PM).
