PASAY CITY, 28 May 2021 — The Department of Foreign Affairs, through the Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco, extends its condolences to the families of the victims of a mass shooting in San Jose, California on 26 May 2021. The Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco is confirming reports that at least one of the victims is of Filipino descent, and stands ready to extend appropriate assistance, if warranted.
