Temporary Suspension of Operations in the DFA Consular Office in Tacloban City  

TACLOBAN 10 October 2025 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) informs the public that its  Consular Office in Tacloban City (CO Tacloban) is closed starting 12:01 PM today, 10 October 2025 due to a Potential Tsunami Threat per the City Government of Tacloban’s  Executive Order No. 2025-10-57 dated 10 October 2025. 

CO Tacloban will resume its regular operations on Monday, 13 October 2025. 

All affected applicants with confirmed appointments who are unable to avail of  consular services due to the suspension of operations will be accommodated from  13 October 2025 until 12 November 2025 (Monday to Friday except holidays) during  CO’s regular operation hours (09:00AM to 4:00PM).
