12 January 2015 –  The Department of Foreign Affairs would like to advise the public that consular services shall be available in the National Capital Region (NCR) on 17 January 2015 (Saturday) at the following mall-based DFA Satellite Offices (SOs):

DFA Aseana (at Macapagal Boulevard) and DFA NCR-West (SM Manila) will remain closed on 17 January 2015 in view of the activities in these offices’ environs related to the visit of Pope Francis. 

Proclamation  No. 936, s. 2014, declared 15, 16, and 19 January 2015 as special non-working days in the NCR in light of the activities surrounding the Papal visit in the Philippines.  In compliance with the proclamation, as earlier announced in our 06 January 2014 announcement, DFA Aseana and all mall-based DFA Satellite Offices (SOs) in the NCR shall be closed on 15, 16, and 19 January 2015. They will also be closed on 18 January 2015, a Sunday.
