21 February 2015 – As the Department of Foreign Affairs’ current passport system gradually shifts to an up-to-date system, the DFA would be temporarily implementing the following passport release dates, starting February 23, to ensure that the delivery of passport services for the public remains unhampered during the transition period:

The DFA assures the public that normal passport releasing schedules will be restored upon the end of the transition period to an improved passport system with enhanced security features that will facilitate every Filipino’s travelling experience and safety.
