17 April 2015 - As advised by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada, all Filipino nationals (including family members above 18 years old) who intend to travel to Canada to work or to study must submit a police certificate from each country of last employment or residency where they lived for the last six (6) or more months in succession.

Filipinos, in particular those coming from the Middle East or other developing countries, are kindly requested to heed the above advisory prior to arriving in Canada to avoid the inconvenience and difficulty of applying for police certificates after they have left the country of their last employment or residency.  END
