14 August 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Singapore would like to advise all Filipinos that according to the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), those who were previously refused entry into Singapore or were issued a Notice of Refusal of Entry into Singapore, and who have plans to travel to Singapore, of the need for them to meet the usual entry requirements, such as a passport with at least six months validity, a valid Singapore entry visa (if applicable), confirmed return/onward tickets (where applicable), sufficient funds for the period of stay in Singapore, among others. In addition to the above, s/he may submit to the ICA an appeal for entry, together with the required supporting documents and requisite application forms (Forms 14 and V391, copies of which can be downloaded from ICA’s website to show that his/her presence os required in Singapore through a local sponsor (local sponsor should be a Singapore citizen / Singapore Permanent Resident who is at least 21 years old) to the ICA by post for its consideration.
As with most countries, a visitor’s entry into Singapore is neither a right nor automatic. Each application for a visit pass is assessed on its own merits. The grant of a visit pass to a visitor will be determined by the Singapore ICA officer at the point of entry in Singapore. END
