29 December 2015 – The Department of Foreign Affairs has placed Pakistan under Alert Level 1 (Precautionary Phase) in view of the number, magnitude and gravity of incidents of internal violence as well as the existence of external threats to the country.

Alert Level 1 is issued when there are valid signs of internal disturbance, instability, and external threat to the host country. Filipinos are alerted to take necessary precautions.

The Philippine Embassy in Islamabad is ready to extend assistance, if necessary, to the estimated 1,284 Filipinos in Pakistan. Below are the contact details of the Embassy:
