PH Embassy in Hanoi Conducts Self-Defense Class

HANOI 06 December 2018 – As part of the 18-day campaign to end violence against women, the Philippine Embassy in Hanoi organized a basic self-defense class at the Grand Mercure Hotel on 03 December 2018.

Embassy’s Vice Consul Jose Antonio Olaguera gave a short lecture on the background on the campaign to end Violence against Women and mixed martial arts coach Rocel Catalan gave a one-on-one demonstration on how to use the basic strikes in self defense in a given dangerous situation.

The class was attended by the officers and staff of the Embassy and members of the Filipino Community in Hanoi. (Hanoi PE photos)
