PH Consulate General in SanFo Celebrates Int’l Women’s Day

PHOTO: In celebration of International Women’s Day, Philippine Consulate General in San Francisco personnel, led by Consul General Henry S. Bensurto Jr., wore purple office attire to symbolize their support for Women’s Day and the Philippines’ National Women’s Month.

The Consulate General has posted in its social media and public screens posters that bear the Philippine theme for National Women’s Month, “We Make Change Work for Women,” to inform the public on the Philippine advocacy based on its implementation of the Magna Carta of Women or Republic Act No. 9710.

For the whole of March, the Consulate General will also play in its public screens the United Nations video “This #WomensDay, We’re Innovating for Change.” (San Francisco PCG photos)
