 PH Mission to ASEAN Organizes “Life Changes for Health: On the Mind and Body”

JAKARTA 16 December 2019 –– As one of its Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives, the Permanent Mission of the Philippines to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) organized a seminar entitled, “Life Changes for Health: On the Mind and Body” held on 22 November 2019.

The event invited representatives of Alzheimer’s Indonesia and EastWest Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation to present practical recommendations on mental and physical health.

In his opening remarks, Philippine Ambassador to Jakarta Noel Eugene Eusebio M. Servigon expressed his commitment to health and wellness programs. In the spirit of encouraging physical and well-being activity, the audience engaged in a “warm-up” with a simple hand movement routine prepared by a risk reduction specialist of Alzheimer’s Indonesia.

The event was attended by Mission’s personnel, members of the ASEAN Women’s Circle, the Philippines Women Association and other members of the Filipino Community in Jakarta. END
