PH Embassy in Islamabad Joins 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women

ISLAMABAD 23 December 2019 — Philippine Ambassador to Pakistan Daniel R. Espiritu led this year’s campaign of the Philippine Embassy in Islamabad to end violence against women in a simple launching ceremony was held during its flag raising ceremony on 25 November 2019.
Anti-violence posters were also displayed inside the consular section to raise awareness on the prevailing social menace and the possible ways to stop it.
Meanwhile, leaders and members of the Filipino community attended the showing of the film, “The Unplanned” on 28 November 2019. The film showing was organized by the Embassy as part of its share to the worldwide campaign with this year’s theme “VAW-Free community starts with me.” END

The Orange your Icon For 18 Days Advocacy Initiative of Philippine Embassy in Islamabad was launched by displaying posters which emphasized the repulsive and hideous realities of violence against women and the means on how to save the victims and stop this from happening. (Islamabad PE photo)
