BUTUAN 13 March 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Office in Butuan participates and conducts #SerbisyoParaKayJuana Activity in Celebration of the 2020 National Women’s Month on 10 March 2020.
The office prepared and offered purple-themed chocolate cupcakes and chantilly bars as freebies to the first 50 women passport applicants. The activity aims to bring the celebration to every Juana applicant and make them feel appreciated, supported, and empowered.
According to the Philippine Commission on Women, #SerbisyoParaKayJuana is an activity that encourages agencies and organizations that offer direct services, transactions, and products to the public to give privileges like freebies and discounts to women on International Women’s Day and/or other dates in March.
