PH Embassy in Hanoi Holds Cooking Class

HANOI 17 September 2020 – In line with its entrepreneurship and skills enhancement program for the Filipino community, the Philippine Embassy in Hanoi organized a cooking class at the chancery on 15 September 2020. A total of 16 members of the Filipino community, with 10 females and 6 males, attended the event. 

Food catering and delivery services owner in Hanoi Ms. Neneth Obenita demonstrated how to prepare two simple Filipino dishes, namely skinless longganisa and fish lumpia. According to Ms. Obenita, said dishes are not only easy to cook but are also a good source of income should participants be interested to venture in small businesses. Ms. Obenita also shared cooking tips during this activity, which is also part of the Gender and Development (GAD) activities of the Embassy. END
