DFA Consular Office in La Union Joins 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), Tsunami Awareness Webinar

LA UNION 01 December 2020 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office (CO) in La Union on 23 and 27 November 2020 participated in the kick-off of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) and the 4th Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED), spearheaded by the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) through Office of Civil Defense (OCD) via YouTube live coverage, respectively.
Other activities related to the above campaigns participated in by CO personnel include the Zumba activity dubbed as “AIRobics: Indak para sa Malinis na Hangin”, organized by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) – Region 1 and the Tsunami Awareness Webinar, also conducted by NDRRMC.
