Public Advisory: Processing of Documents for Authentication Via Courier Service

PASAY CITY 25 March 2021 - The Department of Foreign Affairs — Office of Consular Affairs informs the public that documents for authentication may be processed by a courier service company, or any authorized representative, provided that the following requirements are complied with:

1. Authorization letter from the owner of the document/s (for minor applicants: original Special Power of Attorney executed by parent/s);

2. Photocopy of the owner’s ID (refer to the list of acceptable IDs) bearing his/her signature; and

3. Photocopy and original copy of representative’s ID

All applications should be made in person by the applicant except under certain circumstances (e.g. documents filed by his/her immediate kin.

Applications not paid within 24 hours shall be disposed of.
