Public Advisory on the Suspension of Operations of the Office of Consular Affairs on 26 December 2022

PARANAQUE CITY, 23 December 2022 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) - Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) informs the public that by virtue of Proclamation 115 declaring Monday, 26 December 2022, as a Special (Non-Working) Day throughout the country, operations in the Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana and all Consular Offices across the country will be suspended on that day.

Normal operations will resume on 27 December 2022 (Tuesday). 

FOR PASSPORT APPLICANTS

Passport applicants with confirmed appointments in DFA Aseana, Consular Offices and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) will receive an email of their new appointment schedule.

FOR AUTHENTICATION APPLICANTS

1. Affected Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments at DFA- Aseana will be accommodate on the following date:

Affected applicants must present their confirmed appointment packet which shows that their original schedule is on 26 December 2022.

2. Affected Authentication applicants with confirmed appointments in other Consular Offices (COs) will be accommodated within 30 days from 26 December 2022.

3. Releasing of Authentication Documents at Double Dragon Plaza

Applicants may refer to their Official Receipts or Authentication Slips of the original releasing date for reference.
