Warsaw appeal for assistance1

13 November 2013 - Poland’s two most widely circulated newspapers, namely Rzeczpospolita and Gazeta Wyborcza, published on November 12  the letter of appeal for assistance on behalf of the the victims of typhoon Haiyan which was issued by Ambassador Patricia Ann V. Paez of the Philppine Embassy in Warsaw.

Upon the request of Poland’s former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Atty. Roman Giertych and at no cost to the Embassy, each of the two leading dialies devoted one full page each to publicize the appeal.
 

Ambassador Paez met with Atty. Giertych on November 12 at his law office to personally express her gratitude for the latter’s kindness and overwhelming support to help the Philippines.
