Honolulu  Japanese Consulate donation for typhoon victims

15 November 2013 - Deputy Consul General Kazunari Tanaka and Consul Kenji Endo of the Japanese Consulate General in Honolulu presents a check of US$530.00 for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda. Receiving the check for the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu is Consul Roberto T. Bernardo.

Consul General Toyoei Shigeeda also sent a letter of condolence. The check is from the officers and staff of the Japanese Consulate General and payable to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

Consul Endo is travelling to Tacloban this weekend to check the status of Japanese citizens there. He has been assigned to the Japanese Embassy in Manila and has knowledge of the disaster area. END
