Words of gratitude from Ms. Chiara Mapa, a Filipino expatriate in Moscow, who mobilized 23 volunteers, mostly Russians and friends from the Focolare Movement, for the Bake Sale fundraising activity last November 17, at the St. Louis Parish in central Moscow.

Parishioners, including overseas Filipino workers, braved the chilly winds and cold weather last Sunday to support the five-hour outdoor sale of homemade cakes and pastries. Said activity raised a total of 90,830 Russian rubles or Php 121,068, which will be sent to the Philippines via Focolare Movement channels to help in the ongoing relief operations in the typhoon-affected areas in the Visayas.
