27 November 2013 - San Francisco City Hall was lighted in the colors of the Philippine flag of red, white, blue and yellow.  Mayor Edwin Lee authorized the lighting of this landmark to raise awareness of the continuing need for support for the victims of the devastating typhoon that hit the Visayas Region of the Philippines.

The City and County of San Francisco, led by Mayor Lee, has been one of the strong supporters of the ongoing relief operations in the aftermath of typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).  The website, sfgivesback.org, provides useful information and reliable resources on how to make donations for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda.  END
