06 December 2013 - The United Korean Association of Hawaii donated a second batch of checks amounting to a total of US$5,681.00 to the victims of typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

The donation will go to the Philippine Red Cross.

The President of the United Korean Association of Hawaii, Mr. Austin K. Kang, presented the checks to Consul General Julius D. Torres on November 26. Mr. Kang was accompanied by officers of the United Korean Association of Hawaii.

The UKAH had already donated US$1,000 last week. END
