06 December 2013 – The Philippine Embassy in Madrid reported to the Department of Foreign Affairs on December 5 that the Government of the Balearic Islands approved a donation of €80,000 for the victims of typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

The donation will be coursed through the Spanish Red Cross and will cover the shipment and deployment of emergency assistance to provide drinking water, sanitation and other humanitarian aid. END
