18 December 2013 - A flea market-for-a-cause was organized by the Daughters of Charity nuns (Srs. Mila Azucena, Jesse Encio, and Corazon Jegillo) on December 1 and 8 at the Sacred Heart Parish in Vientiane to raise funds for super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) survivors. 

Lao, Filipino and International expatriate communities donated old and new possessions such as clothing, magazines, DVDs and CDs, bags, sports equipment and fashion accessories for the flea market.  Sacred Heart Church parishioners willingly extended support and enjoyed shopping for a cause.  END
