Agana PMT Donation

26 December 2013 - The Pacific Micronesia Tours (PMT) Guam Corporation donated US$10,000 to the victims of super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) that struck the central Philippines last month.

 

Mr. Tadashi Echikawa, President and General Manager of PMT Guam Corporation, came to the Philippine Consulate General on December 18 to personally hand over the check to Consul and Acting Head of Post Edgar Tomas Q. Auxilian. Joining Consul Auxilian in receiving Mr. Echikawa and his staff was Consul Maria Paz G. Cortes.

 

The check donation is being coursed through the Philippine Red Cross.

 

PMT Guam Corporation is one of the big companies on the island engaged in transporation, tour arranging and other related services in Guam and the Micronesian region.

 

Consul Auxilian conveyed his deepest appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Echikawa and his staff for their generous assistance and kind expression of support. He said that the donation would bring hope to the disaster-affected communities, especially during the Christmas season. END
