LA- donation from Koreans

17 January 2014 – The Korean American Federation of Orange County, California, led by Chairman of the Board Ka Kim, presented a check to the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles for Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) Relief Efforts through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the amount of USD $2,500.00.

This is the result of the efforts raised by the Korean American Association of Orange County.  Mr. Kim expressed his organization’s support and sympathy for those affected by the typhoon. Consul Marlowe Miranda, who received the check on behalf of the Consulate, conveyed appreciation for the donation and support from the Korean American Federation of Orange County.  END
