03 March 2014 - The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai and Northern Emirates received a donation in the amount of AED19,576.00 which is equivalent to Php238,848.00 from Al Rostamani International Exchange (ARIE), representing ARIE’s commitment to assist the victims of Typoon Yolanda (Haiyan).

Philippine Consul General Frank R. Cimafranca received the donation from ARIE General Manager S. Karunakaran and A.M. Marketing & Head – Philippine Remittance Caloy N. Serrano last  February 24. The donation was remitted to the NDRRMC Donated Fund Account.

Al Rostamani International Exchange donated AED1 from the service fee collected for every personal remittance sent to the Philippines thru any of their branches.

Similar fund raising projects for the victims of Typhoon Sendong (2011) netted AED9,208.00 and Tropical Storm Haiku (2012) amounting to AED12,897.00. END
