18 June 2015 - The Philippine Embassy in Oslo hosted a diplomatic reception at the Chancery on June 15 as part of a series of events and activities celebrating the 117th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Philippine Independence.
Over a hundred guests from the diplomatic corps, the host government, the Norwegian maritime/shipping industry, the business sector, media, and the Filipino community, not just from Oslo but from various parts of Norway as well, attended the diplomatic reception.
ASEAN Secretary General Le Luong Minh, who was in Norway for an official visit from June 14 to 16, graced the event with his presence.
The guests delightfully sampled the flavors of different Filipino dishes such as chicken adobo, pancit, lumpiang shanghai, camaron rebosado, and buko pandan. END
