THE HAGUE 28 October 2020 – Over 3,000 of our kababayans from the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Luxembourg joined the webinar on Agri-business Opportunities "May Kita sa Agrikultura". The webinar was live-streamed via the Facebook page of the Philippine Embassy in Berlin on 24 October 2020 and was hosted by Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) Berlin’s Labor Attache Delmer Cruz.

The Philippine Embassy in The Hague, Philippine Ambassador to Belgium Eduardo Jose A. De Vega, and Philippine Ambassador to Germany Theresa Dizon-De Vega delivered the opening remarks.  

The “May Kita sa Agrikultura“ webinar laid out the opportunities in the agricultural sector as a very resilient sector, and also provided information on financial literacy and policies from various Philippine government agencies. Speakers also shared experience on agriculture entrepreneurship. 

Presenters at the webinar were Philippine Consul General to Geneva Arnel Talisayon, Department of Agriculture (DA) in Brussels Agriculture Counsellor Jerome Bunyi, National Reintegration Center for OFWs (NRCO) Director Roel Martin, and J&A Livestock Farm Chef Jojo Joaquin. END
