07 August 2015 - For the first time, the Philippine Consulate General in Milan is pursuing cooperation in the field of medicine, particularly in neuroscience, oncology, biotechnology and engineering, through the research network of Brescia 

In a meeting between University of Brescia’s Chancellor Sergio Pecorelli, Vice Chancellor for Internationalization, Research and Higher Education, Maurizio Memo, and Philippine Consul General Marichu Mauro last July 23, avenues of collaboration for Philippine universities and University of Brescia were discussed.

The University of Brescia presents itself as a thematic university focused on health and wealth projects, developing sectors of excellence in the field of medicine. It is strongly oriented towards emerging issues such as sustainability, smart growth, smart living, environmental health, and quality of life in general. END
