27 August 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in New Delhi participated in the ASEAN Sports Day in Commemoration of ASEAN Day and the Independence Day Celebration of Viet Nam Embassy held on August 16 at the Siri Fort Sports Complex in New Delhi. The event was spearheaded by the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

Diplomats, staff members and families from ASEAN Embassies and High Commissions in India attended and participated in the badminton and tennis men and women double games.

Awarding ceremony for the winners of the friendly games was held followed by informal lunch. END
