Prominent Business Leader is New Phl Honorary Consul in Belarus

18 July 2017 MOSCOW –Mr. Viktor Chevtsov, Honorary Consul Designate of the Philippines for Belarus,takes his oath of office before Amb. Carlos D. Sorreta at the Philippine Embassy in Moscow on July 10. Mr. Chevtsov heads the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Minsk, Belarus where the Philippines will open an honorary consular mission for the first time. He is a renowned business leader in Belarus with interests in construction and finance. Mr. Chevtsov traveled to Manila before his appointment to meet with government and business leaders. He will formally assume his role upon receipt of the official concurrence from the Belarussian government.
