14 August 2015 – The Philippine Embassy in Singapore wishes to share the following information from the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA):

Any Filipino citizen, with a record of an offense in Singapore, wishing to visit Singapore again may submit an application for a Visit Pass through a local sponsor at the Visitor Services Center, 4th floor, ICA Building, 10 Kailang Road, Singapore 208718 for consideration.

The application clearly states the reason/s or purpose of entry and duration of visit, together with the supporting documents, will be assessed on its merits.

The following documents are required to be submitted to support the application:

  1. Application Form 14 and V391 (duly completed and signed);
  2. Photocopies of applicant’s passport pages showing the bio data page and signature of the passport holder;
  3. Local sponsor’s Singapore I/C; and
  4. Notice of refusal, if any.

It must be noted that a local sponsor may be an individual Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident aged 21 and above or a Singapore registered company. In the case of the latter, a letter of undertaking stating the applicant’s purpose of visit and undertaking of the maintenance and repatriation of the applicant is required.

The local sponsor may mail the application, together with the relevant supporting documents and application forms duly completed and signed, to the following address:

If the application is approved, the applicant will be issued a letter of permission to enter Singapore. However, if the application is unsuccessful, the reason therefore will not be revealed to the local sponsor or applicant on the ground of confidentiality. END

NOTICE

All applications should be made in person by the applicant except under certain circumstances (e.g. documents filed by his/her immediate kin.

Applications not paid within 24 hours shall be disposed of.
