CLARIN 06 December 2024 – In support of the nationwide 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), the DFA Consular Office Clarin, in collaboration with the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), provided free legal advice and notarial services to the public on 25 November 2024, 9:00AM to 4:00PM at the DFA Consular Office in Clarin. This initiative is part of the government’s commitment to safeguarding human rights and supporting the empowerment and protection of women in our communities.
The 18-Day Campaign to End VAW is a significant annual event dedicated to raising awareness and taking action against violence toward women and girls. By offering these essential legal services, the DFA CO Clarin and PAO Ozamiz City aim to make legal assistance accessible to those in need and to encourage individuals to seek support and exercise their rights.
PAO Ozamiz City deployed three (3) lawyers to the Consular Office headed by PAO Ozamiz City District Atty. Marleaf C. Villa-Mandin, who joined the legal team that served sixty-two (62) applicants. END
