DFA Consular Office in San Fernando Pampanga Launches “Babae Ka, Hindi Babae Lang” Campaign for the 2025 National Women’s Month 

SAN FERNANDO 31 March 2025 — In commemoration, and in support of the 2025 National Women’s Month, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA)  Consular Office (CO) in San Fernando Pampanga launched its month-long “Babae Ka, Hindi Babae Lang”  Campaign from 08 to 29 March 2025, which was aimed to celebrate all Women and Girls, to align with this year’s  theme, “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas”. 

The activities, formulated and headed by the CO’s Gender and Development (GAD) Team - Ms. Janine Ann B.  Santos and Ms. Sunshine J. Pili, kicked-off through a Health Drive, which offered applicants free access to blood  pressure tracking, blood sugar testing and blood oxygen monitoring, all of which are fulfilled by the CO’s resident  licensed nurse. Hygiene kits and other fun gifts are also distributed to Women applicants as appreciation for availing  of our services.  

On 12 March, the CO, in cooperation with the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) District III, held a One-Day Free Notarial  and Legal Services for Passport, Apostille, and Assistance-to-National clients, majority of whom are Women and  Girls, based on the office’s Sex - Age Disaggregated Database (SADD), beginning 2025. 

In addition, the Consular Office actively participated in the Seminar on Office Decorum and Protocol, conducted  by the Foreign Service Institute (FSI), as part of their Training Research Program (TRO), with the goal to provide  Personnel with additional skills, and to develop sensitivity in the workplace, as it continues to make its services  effective, efficient and inclusive.
