PHL Mission Establishes a Daycare Room in New Chancery, a Gender and Development Initiative

30 October 2017 JAKARTA — The Philippine Mission in Jakarta established a daycare and lactation room in its new Chancery as part of its commitment towards Gender and Development (GAD) initiatives with a view to providing its personnel with services that support balancing family obligations and work responsibilities. The daycare center and lactation room provides a safe space for children of Mission’s personnel during their visits. The children ranging from the ages of one to three years old enjoyed a story time session led by Ambassador Elizabeth P. Buensuceso and also participated in a coloring activity with Mme. Doris D. Novicio held at the newly established daycare and lactation room on October 17.
