PH Consulate General Jeddah Commemorates 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence

JEDDAH 16 June 2023 — The officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah (Jeddah PCG) and the attached agencies (POLO-OWWA, Office of Social Welfare Attaché and Office of Hajj Attaché) organized a solemn flag raising ceremony commemorating the 125th anniversary of the declaration of Philippine independence on 12 June 2023.
The ceremony featured performances from the families of the officers and personnel of Jeddah PCG and the reading of messages from the President and the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, and the Secretary for Migrant Workers.
Following the flag ceremony, Jeddah PCG also held an inter-office bowling tournament to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie among its personnel and its partners from Tebyan Law Office. END
