Saudi Donation of Packed Dates Turned Over to DFA’s Muslim Personnel in Time for Ramadhan

01 June 2017 – The Office of Middle East and African Affairs (OMEAA) of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) turned over to the DFA–Muslim Personnel Association (DFAMPA) boxes of palm dates donated by the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Manila in time for the start of the Holy Month of Ramadhan. Traditionally, palm dates are eaten by Muslims throughout the world to break the fast during Ramadhan. END
