PH, Norway Conduct 4^th Round of Political Consultations in Oslo

OSLO 17 April 2018 — Undersecretary Enrique A. Manalo headed the Philippine delegation to the 4^th Philippines-Norway Political Consultations in Oslo, Norway on 12 April 2018. Norway’s delegation was co-headed by Secretary General Wegger Strommen, and State Secretary Marianne Hagen. This year's consultations coincide with the 70^th anniversary of PH-NO relations. Further, it was the first time that the consultations were held at an Undersecretary/Deputy Foreign Minister level, signifying the excellent and growing friendship between the Philippines and Norway. Aside from delegates from the DFA, Undersecretary Manalo was joined by CFO Undersecretary Astravel Pimentel-Naik, and representatives from DTI and MARINA. Both sides discussed cooperation in various bilateral issues, and exchanged views on regional and global developments.
