PASAY CITY 29 August 2019 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) concluded Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with CityMall Commercial Centers Inc., a subsidiary of DoubleDragon Corporation, for the conduct of Passport on Wheels (POW) events in Citimall locations all over the Philippines.
The MOA was signed by Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Civilian Security and Consular Concerns Brigido J. Dulay and DoubleDragon President Ferdinand J. Sia at DoubleDragon's corporate headquarters in Pasay City on 27 August 2019 in the presence of DFA and DoubleDragon officials.
The Multi-Site POW caravan is set to start in the first week of October and will accommodate passport applications in 16 Citimall sites.
The POW initiative was expanded in January 2018, which allowed more Filipino citizens in areas without DFA Consular Offices to renew their passports without having to travel far. END
