Kenyan Officials Visit DFA

27 November 2019 – The Department of Foreign Affairs hosted a delegation from the Republic of Kenya, for a benchmarking visit to the Philippines focused on diaspora engagement, on 27 November 2019. The Department’s Office of the Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs provided a short briefing on the Philippine labor migration experience.

The Kenyan delegation was headed by Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Administrative Secretary Abdul Bahari Ali Jillo and International Organization for Migration Kenya Chief of Mission Sharon Dimanche. The delegation comprises of officials from various agencies in Kenya, and are also set to meet officials from the POEA, DOLE, CFO, and the NGO sector. END
