DFA Assists in Repatriating 190 Filipinos from Singapore

PASAY CITY 21 May 2020 — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) continues its repatriation efforts from all over the globe by welcoming home 190 Overseas Filipinos from Singapore yesterday, 20 May 2020.

The Philippine Airlines flight that brought the repatriates home landed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 at around 1:50 p.m.

The 190 Filipino repatriates underwent the appropriate medical protocols upon arrival as required by the Department of Health-Bureau of Quarantine. They will also be required to undergo quarantine in accordance with the omnibus guidelines established by the Inter-Agency Task Force.

The DFA also coordinated with the Philippine Coast Guard, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Health, and the Philippine National Police. END
