DFA Consular Office in La Union Celebrates Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA Mo) 2020

LA UNION 05 October 2020 – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Consular Office (CO) in La Union participated in the celebration of Maritime and Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANAMo) through posting of the #MANAMo2020 promotional posters and information materials at CO’s TV monitors throughout the month of September and participation to related webinar invitations.
The CO participated in the webinars hosted by the National Coast Watch Council Secretariat (NCWCS) entitled “Maritime Law Enforcement vis-à-vis the Philippines as a Maritime and Archipelagic Nation: The Past, Present and Future” on 08 September 2020 and “Sustainable Ocean Economy amid the COVID-19 Pandemic” on 30 September 2020.
Furthermore, the CO also joined the webinar hosted by DFA – Maritime and Ocean Affairs Office (MOAO) entitled “The Balangay through the Lens of Philippine Maritime History and Boat Culture” on 23 September 2020. END
