PAMPANGA 02 October 2020 – In line with the Department of Foreign Affairs’ (DFA) efforts in providing timely and quality services to the public, the Consular Office (CO) in Pampanga conducted a virtual re-echo training on 5S awareness to its personnel on 01 October 2020. The virtual meeting was organized by CO Pampanga’s 5S Coordinator Merjorie Gonzales, who attended the 5S awareness webinar for 5S coordinators on 26 August 2020.

The re-echo meeting aimed to help CO Pampanga personnel in preparing for the implementation of 5S policies for an effective, efficient, safe, and 5S-ready workplace.

Ms. Gonzales discussed the 5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) and the methodologies and tips on how to achieve and maintain a 5S-compliant workplace. CO Pampanga personnel were also reminded that 5S can be done not only in the workplace but also to personnel’s personal spaces or in their own homes.

CO Pampanga’s Officer-In-Charge, Ms. Elaine Justine L. Aldaya, requested the cooperation and commitment of all personnel in the implementation of 5S in the office and in the application of valuable lessons learned through the re-echo training.

Another workshop session will be scheduled as part of the commitment of CO Pampanga to further develop the skills and knowledge of the personnel in implementing the 5S principles. END
