Today is World Tsunami Awareness Day (WTAD)!

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) joins the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (DOST-PHIVOLCS) in strongly advocating on tsunami awareness, preparedness, and mitigation and promoting tsunami resilience amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

This year’s celebration carries the theme, “Tsunami Awareness, Community Preparedness and Proper Response in the New Normal”.
