Philippine School for the Deaf Receives First Batch of Donations from the International Bazaar Foundation

MANILA 10 April 2025 — The International Bazaar Foundation, Inc. (IBF), led by its Chairperson Madame Pamela Manalo, and its President Consul Betty Ang, turned over its first batch of donations to the Philippine School for the Deaf (PSD) in Pasay City on  26 March 2025. 

Dr. Jordan S. Madronio, Assistant Principal and Officer-in-Charge of the Philippine School for the Deaf received the donation consisting of household care items for use in the dormitory of the PSD students. 

The PSD, formerly known as the School for the Deaf and Blind (SDB), is the pioneer school for the handicapped not only in the country but in Asia. It is a semi-residential school and the only government-owned institution for the deaf in the country.

During her visit to the PSD, Madame Manalo was warmly welcomed by the faculty members and PSD students. She also had the opportunity to tour the school premises and appreciate the curriculum and extracurricular activities being offered by the school to its students.

Organized in 1966, the IBF is a non-profit and fundraising institutional foundation.  Since its inception, it remains committed to its mission of assisting disadvantaged sectors of the population through charitable activities. END
