MANILA 03 June 2025 — The International Bazaar Foundation, Inc. (IBF), led by its Chairperson, Madame Pamela Manalo, visited the IBF’s women beneficiaries at the maximum security ward of the Correctional Institute for Women, in Mandaluyong City, on 21 May 2025. The visit was held in partnership with IBF’s partner NGO, Channel of Hope Foundation.

During the visit, Madame Manalo met with around sixty women-inmates to say hello and ask about their well-being, after which she distributed care packages containing hygiene products like soap, shampoo, sanitary napkins, etc. to the women beneficiaries.

Chairperson Manalo also had the opportunity to observe women-inmates beautifully crafting bags and decorations made out of old newspapers, beads, and leftover fabric. Most of the products created by the women are available for sale and are often purchased by well-known traders and retailers like Kultura.

Organized in 1966, the IBF is a non-profit and fundraising institutional foundation.  Since its inception, it remains committed to its mission of assisting disadvantaged sectors of the population through charitable activities. END
